Sunday's Sermon Text:

1 Peter 1:6-9

This Sunday we look at the second of three primary points Peter makes as he seeks to help us understand the hope of salvation we have in Christ (1:3-12). In this second point he moves from the foundation of our hope in the Triune God to how it practically works itself out in our lives, especially in our suffering.

As you prepare for worship this week by reading this passage, take notice of the repeated call for Christians to rejoice, the source of our joy, and the end goal of that joy.
