Sunday's Sermon Text:

Luke 1:57-80

We return this week to Zechariah and Elizabeth and a fulfillment of what we saw in our first sermon. John is born and Zechariah sings a prophetic song in response. This passage is a beautiful picture of what God has come to do for humanity and how this has been his plan all along.

As you prepare for worship this week by reading this passage, note the allusions to the Old Testament in Zechariah's song, the glorious proclamations of what God has done, and how we are to respond.
