Sunday's Sermon Text:

1 Peter 1:13-21

This Sunday we look at Peter's first call for believers to live in holiness. Amazingly, according to Peter our ability to live in ways that please God does not come from our own strength but from the reality of our hope in the finished work of Jesus Christ to save sinners. Living in holiness now is the proper response to our hope of the furture.

As you prepare for worship this week by reading this passage, notice the commands Peter gives believers for holiness and what gives them their ability to obey.
