Sunday's Sermon Texts:

1 Peter 5:6-14

We come to the final encouragement from Peter for Christians: stand firm in the grace of God. The last exhortations from Peter and the benediction summarize for us the message of the whole book. In Christ, we are recipients of grace and that strengthens us in the face of suffering, equips us for holiness, and comforts us with hope.

As you prepare for worship this week by reading this passage, notice the connection between humility and our anxiety, faith and resisting the devil, and the living hope we have in God's sovereignty.
