Sunday's Sermon Text:

John 21

This week we’re taking a break from Titus to look at John 21.  Jesus has risen (John 20), and John records for us his third appearance to the disciples.  This time it is at the sea of Galilee and includes another miraculous catch of fish (see Luke 5:4-11).  This time Jesus restores Peter to ministry following his denial during Jesus’ trial by asking him one simple question:  “Do you love Me?”

As you prepare for worship this week, church, examine yourselves deeply to see if you truly love the Savior.  Our love for him is the basic qualification for Christian service.
