What to Expect

Sunday Mornings at King's Church

Sunday mornings at King's Church will probably look a little different from the churches you've visited in the past. Because we are a church plant – a new church sent out from an existing church – our worship service may remind you more of what the early church gatherings in the book of Acts looked like: humble in appearance, but rich in gospel fellowship.

Each Sunday we meet as a family of believers, hearing the Word of God preached, singing praises to our Savior, and partaking of the Lord's Supper together. We treasure the gospel of Jesus Christ and aim to make our Savior the focus of every part of the service.

The atmosphere is personal, loving, and welcoming.

FullSizeRenderWe strive to be a diverse body. So no matter where you've come from or what you've gone through you are welcome at King's Church. We'd love for you to join our family.

kids:

At King's Church, all children at any age are welcome in the service. We provide special "Kid's Notes" clipboards with pencil and paper for children who are interested in taking notes or drawing their observations from the sermon. You can find these special clipboards and note sheets at the information table.

Our King's Kids Children's Ministry does provide an alternative for children who are not ready to sit through the service. We offer this option for children ages birth through 5. Simply ask one of our greeters where you can find the Nursery & Preschooler Rooms. We'd love to serve you by caring for your children during the service and teaching them about Jesus.

sunday school:

At King's Church we care about discipleship. One of the key ways we are seeking to raise up mature believers in the faith is through our Sunday School classes. At this time we offer two classes during our 9 A.M. Equiping Hour for children and youth. Both classes are working through the New City Catechism in a fun, age-appropriate, and engaging way. Our teachers are careful to connect each doctrine to the message of the gospel so that every lesson becomes an opportunity for their students to understand their deep need for and Jesus' free offer of salvation.
